Ingredients
- 2 cups gooseberries
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Cook berries in water in saucepan over medium heat until berries are tender.
- Mix sugar, flour, and salt in with berries and cook until thick.
- Cool, then put filling in pie shell and top with meringue.
- Bake until meringue is browned (about 15 minutes).
