Ingredients
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/4 cup corn syrup
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 15 cups popped plain popcorn
- 1 cup chopped pecans
Method
- Beat sugar, butter, corn syrup, and salt in a saucepan over medium heat until bubbly around edges.
- Continue to beat sugar mixture over medium heat 3-5 minutes longer.
- Remove from heat and mix in baking soda, stir until foamy.
- Pour over popcorn and nuts.
- Stir gently to mix and coat.
- Allow to cool.
