Ingredients
- 1 cup butter
- 1/4 cup white sugar
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 1/2 cups coconut
- 2/3 cups glazed cherries
- 1/3 cup chopped nuts
- 1/4 cup raisins
Method
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- Line 9x13 pan with parchment paper.
- Cream butter and sugar together.
- Blend in flour until coarse crumbs form.
- Press the dough into the bottom of the pan.
- Bake for 20 minutes.
- Combine remaining ingredients and spread over shortbread.
- Return to oven and bake for another 30-35 minutes.
- Remove from oven and let cool.
- Cut into bars and serve.
