Ingredients
- 2 cups cooked black beans
- 1 cup liquid retained from cooking black beans
- 1 teaspoon mustard
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon white sugar
- tabasco sauce
Method
- Put the beans and liquid in a blender and puree until smooth.
- Add all other ingredients while blending.
- Pour the mixture into a large nonstick pan and simmer over low heat, stirring constantly.
- Serve hot refried beans in a bowl topped with grated mild white cheese.
