Ham and Cheddar Bread Pudding
Ingredients
- 8 ounces bread torn into 3/4 inch pieces
- 3/4 cup old cheddar cheese coarsely grated
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1/4 cup chicken broth
- 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
- 3 ounces ham minced
- 3 eggs lightly beaten
Method
- Preheat oven to 375°F.
- Put bread on a baking sheet and toast until golden brown (about 10 minutes), turning once.
- Remove from oven.
- Mix together all ingredients except half of the cheddar cheese.
- Put mixture into a 9x9 pan.
- Sprinkle remaining cheese over top.
- Put in oven and bake until lightly browned (about 20 minutes).
