Ingredients
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1 cup water
- 4 cups fresh cranberries
- zest from 2-3 large oranges finely grated
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
Method
- Rinse cranberries.
- Combine water and sugar in large pot, cook over medium heat and stir until sugar is dissolved.
- Add cranberries, zest, and cinnamon to water.
- Reduce to medium-low heat.
- Simmer until most of the cranberries have burst.
- Remove from heat and let cool to room temperature.
- Transfer to jar or bowl and keep in fridge until ready to serve.
