Ingredients
- 1 cup butter
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
- 2 1/2 cups all purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 1/2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
Method
- Preheat oven to 375°F.
- Cream together the butter, brown sugar, and white sugar.
- Beat in the eggs and vanilla.
- In a separate bowl, mix the flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Add the flour to the butter mixture and mix until just blended.
- Add the chocolate chips and mix just a little bit more.
- Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Drop cookies onto baking sheet about 2 inches apart.
- Bake until done (about 10 minutes).
- Remove from oven and cool on wire rack.
