Ingredients
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 4 3/4 cups powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 5 tablespoons heavy cream
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Chocolate variation
- Remove 1/4 cup powdered sugar and replace with 1/4 cup cocoa powder
Method
- In a stand mixer with paddle attachment, beat together all ingredients until light and fluffy.
- If needed, thicken with more powdered sugar or thin with more heavy cream.
