Banana Bread
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 cup white sugar
- 2 eggs
- 4 bananas
- 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Grease a loaf pan.
- Cream together butter and sugar using stand mixer with paddle attachment.
- Add eggs and crushed bananas and continue mixing until a smooth batter forms.
- In a separate bowl, mix together flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Add dry ingredients and vanilla to banana mixture and continue mixing until just combined.
- Pour batter into greased loaf pan.
- Bake until a toothpick inserted in the centre comes out clean (about 60 minutes).
- Cool on a wire rack.
